GROWING TARGET AUDIENCE
A jewelry store was looking to translate its offline business model into an app that would reach a wider audience. We had to solve usability problems for Kollectin's target user and give it an appropriate visual identity.
Discovery and Research
We worked with heuristics by analyzing usability problems from the previous version. Complexities were reduced and small in app tutorials were created for users to learn about the new changes as they used the app.
A DELICATE AND CLEAN IDENTITY
In terms of visual design, we gave the app a more femenine identity related to the jewelry world.
We replicated their selling method for mobile devices. Kollectin manages the user’s logistics, taking care of payment methods, shipping and stock handling.
We also created a set of icons and ilustrations that represents a refined style and help the users understand all the app functionalities.
THE PLATFORM ARCHITECTURE ALLOWED THE CLIENT TO MAXIMIZE THEIR PROFIT
Kollectin was developed as an E-commerce so we destined efforts on its payment method by integrating the Stripe suit of APIs. Also, online stores were customizable thanks to our backend development, which benefited users by allowing them to choose which filters favored their business objectives. This platform architecture allowed the client to maximize their profit depending on the variables they wanted to prioritize.
